The flute duet is the starting point for the musical journey proposed by the Doppler Ensemble. From the still unpublished duets for two transverse flutes by the Catalan composer Carles Baguer (1768-1808) to music by Abel, Schwindl and Franz Doppler, from whom the group take their name, these two fascinating concerts in L'Estartit and Bellcaire d'Empordà will be the first outings of a new instrumental ensemble formed by musicians from the Period Orchestra of the Torroella de Montgrí Music Festival.
